The United States return to action in the CONCACAF Nations League later this month, looking to book a place in the continental final. Gregg Berhalter’s team take on Jamaica in the semi-final on Thursday, 21 March and hope to reach the final three days later.

The fixture will be played over the upcoming FIFA international date, meaning that USMNT are free to choose from the many Americans currently playing overseas in Europe’s top leagues. There was, however, room for a little MLS representation as Berhalter called up two domestic-based players to his squad.

Inter Miami goalkeeper Drake Callender and defender Miles Robinson, who recently signed for FC Cincinnati, are in the roster for the upcoming games. In January Berhalter named an MLS-only squad for a friendly game against Slovenia; both Callender and Robinson were involved in that fixture.

“The objective ahead of us is clear. We want to compete for our third Nations League title and continue to challenge ourselves to succeed in knockout round matches,” Berhalter said as the roster was announced. “This is a group of players with a lot of experience in these types of matches and we look forward to the opportunity.”
